Command the forces of Honor and Odium in Stormlight: War for Roshar! Designed by John D Clair, this strategic board game captures the epic war across Roshar, the setting of Brandon Sanderson's best-selling Stormlight Archive novels. Take control of iconic leaders like Dalinar, Kaladin, Raboniel, and Taravangian. Lead your armies into battle while managing champions, resources, and alliances. You'll begin with two leaders that determine your starting deck, then gain cards over the course of the game that unlock new armies, allies, and Surgebinding powers. Play cards and use cube actions to move around the board, command armies, and use diplomacy with the nations of Roshar. Grow your hand by gaining new cards, then play those cards at the cost of stormlight before using an action to redraw your played cards. But be wary of focusing too much on combat! Your opponent can advance on the diplomacy track to steal allies away from you. Goal cards can shift the balance of power, while storms sweep across the board, refreshing Stormlight and triggering new abilities. Gain points through objectives, character abilities, and controlling capitals. Gain an Oathgate score from holding Oathgate regions, with variable point values as determined strategically by the players. Once your points and oathgate score cross, you win the game. Will you spread your troops to rapidly gather resources and Oathgates? Will you mass your armies to roll across the continent, crushing all armies in your path? Will you build a dynamic force able to claim temporary objectives? Or will you focus on diplomacy, turning nations to your cause and claiming their armies as your own? Whatever your strategy, remember your oaths and speak the words. This is the War for Roshar! -description from publisher
