Cosmic Cowboy

Cosmic Cowboy

2026·N2

2 - 4 players

From BoardGameGeek

Cosmic Cowboy is a worker-placement game where players take on the role of bounty hunters competing to capture outlaws, upgrade planets, and earn the most valuable bounties. On your turn, place one of your action markers on an available action tile to perform that action. An action tile can only contain one player's action marker at a time, so you'll need to plan around the actions your opponents take. The galaxy is filled with outlaws displayed on wanted posters on the main board. Choose which outlaw you want to capture, then pay the required cost in henchman tokens. Outlaws higher up on the board offer greater bounties and more powerful special effects, but they also cost more to capture. Capturing outlaws earns you bounties and can give you special abilities to help you throughout the game. You can also use your actions to upgrade planets. Pay the required cost in henchman tokens to upgrade a planet revealed on the main board. Planet upgrades provide permanent benefits that can make your future actions more efficient. Once all players have used their action markers, the action phase is refreshed and the markers are collected. The next round then begins. Cosmic Cowboy is played over 8 rounds, or 7 rounds in a 4-player game. At the end of the final round, the player who with the highest total victory points wins the game and claims the title of the galaxy's greatest bounty hunter: the Cosmic Cowboy! -description from the publisher
