"Essence - The Grim Expeditions" is a solo or cooperative Tabletop Roguelite. What makes Essence different is that you level up your attribute bands and these are your key to transform die rolls into APs (action points). You use these to perform abilities, cast spells, or solve obstacles. This dynamic system also allows for you being attacked while still dealing with an obstacle. A cascade of penalties, joining monsters etc may slowly drag you into demise. Essence is a short legacy dice crawler in which you can level your heroes from level 1 to 8. An XP shop lets you spend XP to level up abilities, expand your attribute bands. With each level you gain a new D8 (starting with 3 at level 1), so prepare to chuck a lot of dice with your max level heroes!
