The Ship's Computer wakes you from Cryo-Sleep. There's something Big & Nasty on board! But you're on this ship for a reason… You're trapped on a drifting death trap with one shot at survival. Race through bug-infested corridors, outwit rivals and hunt down the elusive McGuffin that will unlock your Agenda - and the access codes you need to escape before everything goes dark. Every second counts, every choice is vital. Will you get out alive? Panic Stations! is the fast-paced card game version of the fanboy love letter to sci-fi monster movies Pandora Celeste. It's quicker. It's dirtier. And it's a lot more bloody! Players begin with 7 cards in hand, which they use to move around the cards that form the Ship, turning them over and interacting with what they find. Some cards reveal Tools that you can Pick Up and Use; others reveal Nasty alien monsters that bite if you try to pick them up; and others present Plot McGuffins needed to Fulfil your Hidden Agenda. As the stock of ShipCards runs out, it reveals Big Nasty aliens seeded into the deck, which start to stalk you through the Ship. Find the McGuffin, use it to unlock the Escape Vehicles and get off this floating deathtrap before its Pandora's Box of all the evils in the sci-fi universe overflows and swarms you all. If Pandora Celeste is like living through a movie, then Panic Stations is the high-octane chase sequence from the trailer! -description from the designer
Panic Stations! The Pandora Celeste Card Game has 2 videos from 1 creator: 1 how-to-play guide and 1 playthrough. They date from March 2026.
To learn the rules, start with "How to Play PANIC STATIONS!" by A Shot from the Guntower, which runs 26 min.
To see it played, watch "Panic Stations! - How it Plays" by A Shot from the Guntower.
If you like it, try Pandora Celeste, Carta Imperia: Rise of Rome and Pandora Celeste: Pirates & Salvage, also by Mike Ibeji, or Cross Bronx Expressway, which shares several of its mechanics.
