From BoardGameGeek
Bookshelf is the new game in Alley Cat Games' ever popular tin line. Players must work together to cooperatively stack books on top of a tower of cards. Cards have instructions on which books to place on top of it, and restrictions of where most of the books need to be placed. Don't be fooled though, placing books one at a time is harder than it initially looks! -description from the publisher
Bookshelf has 5 videos from 5 creators: 2 reviews and 3 how-to-play guides. They date from May to September 2026.
To learn the rules, start with "All the Games with Steph: Bookshelf - Teach & Playthrough" by Steph Hodge, which runs 8 min.
For an opinion before you buy, start with "Bookshelf Review - Stacking Up The Fun" by Don't Be Board.
If you like it, try Catstronauts, Kittin and Pusheen: The Stacking Game!, also by Caezar Al-Jassar, or Nekojima, which shares several of its mechanics.
