In Dr. Science, each player is a brilliant PhD competing to earn prestige by playing tricks, building hypotheses, and validating their findings. On your turn, you'll play a card to the current trick - choosing from your hand or tableau - and optionally add cards to your hypothesis (your personal tableau of sets and runs), then draw a new card from the display. Score points by taking tricks and validating 2–4 cards at once, but only if your entire hypothesis remains valid. Every player has their own Specialty suit, acting as a personal trump that can shift the tide of any trick - but only one trump can be active at a time! Balancing trick play with long-term tableau building creates rich decisions every turn. Will you spend a card to win a trick, or save it to complete your next big breakthrough? Play smart, validate often, and become the most celebrated scientist! -description from the designer
