From BoardGameGeek

In Generals of Kaladan: Age of Crowns, players command one of six realms - Khalisia, Kimbria, Laurielle, Nanchia, Ardanor, and Zhojira - each with distinct terrain bonuses, signature units, and tactical approaches in a battle of 2-6 players to be the last crown standing. Turns unfold in a clear rhythm: Event Card, resolve gold and free units, move or attack, resolve magic and combat, then reinforce. Battles are quick and lethal, using dice for six unit types (Crown, General, Catapult, Archer, Shield, Sword in addition to a special realm unit) to keep conflict decisive and positioning meaningful. Components include modular terrain tiles, units, magic cards, reference sheets, event cards, realm cards and dice (D6–D12). Recommended age 8+, playtime 30–120 minutes depending on player count and scenario. -description from the designer
