Long before kingdoms rose and crumbled, before men spoke words of power they did not understand, there was the Veyra of Vefariheim. It bound all things together - the threads of fire and stone, root and shadow, blood and moonlight. And so long as the Veyra endured, so too did the world. For an age, men were charged as stewards of the Veyra. They were gifted with the power to nurture balance or to grasp for dominion. But man is seldom content. They carved the earth, chained the strong, and bled the Threads for their own desires. They called their greed progress, their arrogance destiny. And so they unraveled what they were sworn to protect. The Veyra faltered. Magic curdled, the skies tore, and whispers of doom spread. Salvation, if it comes, will be woven by those once cursed as monsters: vampires seeking eternity, werewolves yearning for the hunt, dragons craving flame, Leshens desperate for renewal, and trolls reforging their oaths. Together, the Questweavers will face trials that test strength, cunning, loyalty, and sacrifice. Each Thread pulled risks the Veyra further - or mends it anew. Outcasts all, will those once reviled rise up and repair what men have sundered? To win Questweaver, complete quests to score the most Victory Points in the game. Recruit your characters to form a team of ten. Take turns committing your characters to the questing party. Gain the most Victory Points by completing quests using your recruited characters, spells, and strategy. -description from the designer
