From BoardGameGeek
Welcome to Claustrophobia 1692, a two-player combat game set in a fictional maze of caverns where human warriors battle infernal forces rising from the depths of Hell. One player leads a desperate band of condemned warriors, led by their Redeemer, who are seeking to fulfill a divine mission, while the other commands numberless demonic hordes seeking to destroy them. Every game is a story of survival or damnation. Using modular dungeon tiles and scenario-based objectives, Claustrophobia 1692 is played over a series of rounds, each divided into a human turn and an infernal turn. Rounds continue in this way until the endgame conditions described for the scenario have been met, at which point the victor is determined. -description from the publisher
