November 1983 - After practicing all year, it's time for the big roller disco competition. The best jam skaters from around the world have gathered with their finest skate gear under the glare of the mirrorball. Synth-pop booms from the speakers. Who will hit the right rolls and land the right moves to be crowned the champion of the roller disco? Roller Disco is a fast-paced card game in which you play sequences of skate cards around a mirrorball with the objective of shedding your cards first. Combining ladder-climbing mechanisms with unique route-building, you must choose if you are "Movin' on up" or "Gettin' down" when you choose card ranks to use in your sequence. Wild jam cards will help improve your sequence and even change your route direction! Roller Disco is quick to learn, but clever hand management is needed to carefully plan your routes and skate your way to victory. -description from the designer
