Inspired by the landscape and wildlife of the British countryside, Meadowvale is a beautiful strategic tile-placement game. Players build a shared countryside of woodlands, hedgerows, rivers and meadows, where animals behave according to their ecology: foxes hunt rabbits, owls sweep across open fields, and hedgehogs seek shelter along gardens and hedgerows. Through Nature Cards and Tokens, players enrich the landscape, creating thriving habitats that animals can inhabit and benefit from. Carefully position and move your animals, invest in species and habitats, compete for limited specialisms that unlock new ecological scoring, and anticipate your opponents as the countryside evolves.
