You have lived (as frogs) in a stagnant puddle your whole life. In the distance is the safety of Fly Pond. But there are six lanes of dangerous freeway traffic between you and the good life. Hophazard is a two player dice game - each player rolls 1-4 die (depending on how many frogs are in traffic at the moment) on their turn. Then, one at a time those die are used to either either move one frog towards Fly Pond, or set up for a 'hop inbetween' the opponents frogs (and then use one of the remaining die to push that opponents frog back towards the stagnant puddle). Doubles and triples can be used to push opponent's frogs back as well. The first player to get three of their four frogs to Fly Pond wins. -description from the designer
