Takeover is a small box game about building the best hand, deploying powers, and playing all your cards first. As a syndicate manager, you play freelancers (cards) and use tactical actions to vie for control of the last publicly traded city. Be the first to play all your cards and you win the game! Game feel and features: -Build a better hand from a shared market of cards -Use Specialists to steal, go first, and disrupt other players -Sequence your card plays to pressure rivals and empty your hand Now includes Override, a clearer, leaner, and slightly meaner rules variant in the same box. This variant accelerates an already fast game with punchier play and smoother pacing. The Override mechanic also adds extra interaction, deduction, and psy games. -description from the publisher
