Mythiko is a trick-taking, shedding card game where you play as a god of Ancient Greece, influencing humanity in Music, Literature, Tragedies, and Science-but make sure to take credit for your divine gifts! The game unfolds over five ages (or three for a shorter game). In each age, players compete to empty their hands by playing sets of cards that must be higher than the previous set played. The player who plays the highest set before all others pass starts the next round. This continues until all but one player have played all their cards. Scoring: The first player to go out earns the most points. Other players who go out later earn progressively fewer points. The last player remaining with cards gets zero points for that age. Each god has a unique power, granting special abilities that provide strategic advantages. While only certain cards are worth points, the key to victory lies in shedding cards efficiently and winning tricks with high-scoring cards. After five ages, the player with the most victory points is crowned the ultimate deity!
