From BoardGameGeek

In 6 Forces, the players compete in a trick-taking game to earn the most points. At the start on each hand, a bidding phase proceeds around the table twice; on one of your two bidding turns you must declare how many tricks you will win and on the other you must declare what is trump for tricks you lead. The possible trump declarations are related to suit or rank, and there are limits on how many times a certain declaration can be made. After bidding, the players play out their hand of cards in a traditional must-follow trick-taking game, with the trump "suit" changing based upon who is leading the trick. Players score points for hitting their bid, and lose points for missing their bid. The person with the most points after a number of rounds wins.
