Tavern Ball is a strategy sports game played between two players. Each player is the coach of a team represented by a deck of cards. During a match, coaches position their teammates on the field, activate their unique actions and issue them commands in order to gain possession of the ball, push it into the opposing team’s half and score points. With each play-through, choose a play-style from 12 teams each with a diverse range of strategies adopted by the street urchins, firefighters, sea cults, thespians (and more!) of Red Harbor - then mesh it with a second choice to form unique combinations. Your team’s success relies on your ability to deploy and command your player cards before fatigue or injury removes them from the play. As the match unfolds, unleash the unique actions of your players, activating their special abilities to gain the upper hand. Player cards enter the fray face down, building the tension as coaches attempt to read the tactics of their opponents while attempting to disguise their own. Start a league! Tavern Ball can be played simultaneously between 6 players.
