From BoardGameGeek

A remake of “Catena” (designed by Reiner Knizia), released in 1992.The artwork has been changed to appeal to a wider range of modern players, and the rules have also been changed to provide more depth of play. Discs are revealed simultaneously, and the player who reveals the highest number may place the disc. All discs are used up (except for “0”), so if you lose, not only can you not place a disc, but you lose your power. The game offers a thrilling sense of tension, as the players must sometimes conserve their power, but at important points, they need to be aggressive.
