By adding this expansion to the base game, you may even play Faraway with 7 players. -description from the publisher This expansion features 5 Region cards with a new gray Biome, Mystical Havens (with a band of icons across the center), which were already present on 25 Sanctuary cards in the base game (and 4 Sanctuary cards in this expansion). One new Region card scores 4 VP per Mystical Haven card (and requires 2x of each resource icon as a prerequisite - 6 total).
