In this tactical game with deckbuilding elements, 1-4 players become one of the Jomsvikings - an elite mercenary group capable of accomplishing even the most impossible tasks. You set off to different planets of the Nine Realms to gain glory while figthing anything your employers want you to fight! The game consists of 3 rounds, during which players fight the chosen monsters (each of them separately), but can either help or hinder other players. Each round takes us to a different planet, with various conditions, that can impact combat. By investing in new cards and new equipment it can become much easier to defeat them, but the ultimate goal lies in collecting the glory points (received for defeating the enemies, finding the valuable artifacts, and using the abilities skilfully). Jomsviking can be played in 2-4 player free for all mode, solo mode or in 2-4 player coop mode. -description from the designer
