The .RAT (Regime of Authoritarian Tetrarchs - the New World's government), has created the ultimate weapon - A Killswitch in case the world's A.i. gets out of hand, aptly named ZeroDay.exe. Unfortunately, the .RAT also doesn't think too far in advance. Their precious A.i. learned of this weapon and were...angry, to say the least. The A.i. decided to take control of the program and have started targeting our bio-cybernetics (cybers). At first, they only targeted the .RAT and those close to it here in Shijima - the capital city - so us commoners didn't care much about it - hell, some were even happy about it. But recently there have been attacks against anyone the A.i. deems a threat…which is basically every human with cybers. We didn't want (or try) to get caught up in this fight, but here we are. Now, we're on the A.i.'s shortlist, so the only thing left to do is infiltrate their databanks and destroy them before they get to us. And I guess if we save some lives, that's a plus Take on the role of one of 8 unique characters and fight to reclaim the city of Shijima in this Cyberpunk-syle, cooperative Rogue-lite dungeon crawler. On your turn, you will have 2 action points to spend on a variety of different actions. Game mechanics include: Deterministic Combat, Hand Management, Deck Building, Character specific actions (Programs), AI Threat level, Initiative track, and Strategic positioning. Play 4 ways: OP Mode - Play a random Operation. Upgrade your character and draft your deck throughout the Operation for endless replayability. (1-4hr) Boss Mode - Draft a deck and customize your character before taking on a Boss! (1-2 hr) OP + Boss Mode - Play a random Operation and use the upgrades you earn throughout the Operation to take on a Boss. (2-6 hrs) Campaign Mode - Play through all 15 Operations over multiple sessions, upgrading your character along the using Virtu cards to streamline your deck into a more curated set of cards.
