Belt Trade is a 2-6 player game. The main aim of the game is to gain as many credits as possible by bidding on and trading goods. Each player is a space caravanner attempting to gain the most credits by bidding on trading goods between earth and the asteroid belt. Player's will use the items they gain during one phase to count points. Then they will use those very items to bid a trade for the next phase of items! Your opponent's can disrupt your plans by bidding higher than you on items you sought after or by playing cards that prevent you from picking up certain items. Being vigilant in keeping track of what items have already been traded and obtained. Not doing so could lead to your opponents gaining more credits than you. -description from the designer
