Sancti et Malum is a solo game of cards and dice which can also be played as a team. The game is based on the epic struggle between the Holy and the Evil; the player (on the side of the faithful Angels) tries to defeat the fallen Host of Satan. There is a deck of 40 cards, each card face split into a pair of Holy and Evil content. Most of these are Angels, each with their own dice-rolling power and other aspects, OR they are modifier cards to enhance or hinder the performance of the Angels. Enemy cards are drawn, and players choose from their hand the Holy heroes they wish to assign to the conflict. Dice are rolled and modifiers applied to best meet the powers of the foes on the battlefield. If either Angelic army wins five rounds, they win the battle. But the eternal conflict goes on forever between the Holy and the Evil - Sancti et Malum. -description from designer
