The faerie land of Tír na nÓg is split into two realms: the Realm of Eternal Spring, where the Seelie fae are governed by the ethereal Queen Titania, and the primeval Forest Arden, where the King of Autumn, Lord Oberon, rules over their Unseelie kindred. Oberon and Titania have decided to end their historic rivalry and join their kingdoms by getting married. They have each invited delegations from among their various vassal faeries to come and celebrate the royal wedding at the grandest feast ever seen in a wooded glade. The players take on the roles of faerie nobility who stand to lose the most from this arrangement, as their position in this new political order is anything but certain. But if you're willing to indulge in some well-timed mischief, you can try to help things move along to your own advantage. The king and queen will be hearing toasts and compliments all night, and faeries are known for their penchant for practical jokes. If you can end the night aligned with the correct factions who managed to look good to the king and queen, you can come out with your position assured. Mischief is the first title from Dan Cassar's Dream Cult Game Studio, an imprint he hopes to use to share a unique brand of games that is deep, elegant and accessible.
