Need more Ominous Invincible Hydras in your life? Gear up heroes for adventures and monsters in Journey Adventure Quest (JAQ), a drafting strategy game with fast setup, magic, and a unique and fun card stacking twist. Simultaneous play keeps the game moving, and the layered stacking mechanics set it apart. Simple rules and complex strategy make it fun for every game night. You can choose whether you want the gameplay to be more competitive, or more helpful. The core of JAQ is drafting and stacking cards to build attack, defense, and knowledge while avoiding damage. Heroes search from dawn to dusk for equipment and spells every day, and gather sets crafted by different guilds, which are often vital to completing both adventures and quests. The 2-player version switches to an open-drafting format and, unlike many strategy games, retains all of the mechanics and strategic decision making as the 3-6 player version. The solo mode has you compete against the Crimson Knight, who is competitive against even experienced heroes. -description from the designer
