The year is now 2071 and with the arrival of the Robotrons on earth, technology has advanced by great leaps and bounds aiding humanity in its struggles. However, Venom has turned this technology to their own nefarious purposes such as the creation of Cipher a gifted telepath who has been changed into the living brain of Venom Island, the creation of their airborne shock troops the Vultures, and much more! But that is not all for dark things from man's ancient past are rising once more as the Master Vampires Lord and Lady Crimson wake from a 600-year slumber and now seek to carve a new their old domain. Fullmoon a brilliant LA Detective attacked and infected by a werewolf seeks out the aid of Freedom Squadron to help control the beast that now lurks in her soul. To combat these new threats General Steel has implemented the Advance Training Program where you can now before your Recruitment Phase Retire Recruits and Commandos to upgrade them into new and better versions such as the Pilot, Heavy Gunner, or Spy! But think carefully because Recruits will give you more choices to upgrade to but is then placed in your discard pile. Where Commandos give you only one choice they are placed on top of your draw deck.
