From BoardGameGeek

Polyversal is a science-fiction mass-combat miniatures game. The game is for two or more players and is set in a plausible near-future Earth, but also lets you create a setting with its open-source approach. Polyversal is compatible with all 6mm-15mm miniatures and is fully customizable. Boxed sets of the game can be purchased with or without miniatures. Sets with miniatures feature models from multiple 6mm and 10mm miniatures manufacturers including Brigade Models, Dark Realm, Plasmablast Games, Microworld Games, and Hawk Wargames (Now TT Combat). Polyversal also allows players to design their own Combatant Tiles using a free web application called Arsenal. The input is a player's miniature and design choices- the output is a playable game tile. All tiles contain stats for units in the game and they are also used to form battlegroups- a visual command structure. A points-based system balances everything out based on the selected options, weaponry, armor, class of unit, etc.
