The origins of Big Ham Games date back to the 1970s in my childhood home on Bigham Street (get it?). I grew up in a fun home with many more siblings than parental incomes, so I often designed and made my own board games. It turned out I liked many of my own better than those my parents bought. A few decades later with a slightly bigger budget, better technology, and unrequested spare time, I've turned my childhood love of board games into Big Ham Games to continue this family tradition. (It doesn't hurt that my younger son is a talented illustrator and graphic designer, providing amazing artwork for our games at below market cost!) Our inaugural release is an ambitious epic wargame about the French & Indian War that I've been thinking on for about 25 years called Forts & Forests: The War for North America.
