OpenSky is a competitive airline management game for 2 to 4 players, where each player runs a low cost airline trying to dominate the skies while staying profitable. Using systems inspired by real budget airlines, players develop their network by placing airplanes on routes to secure airport subsidies, attract passengers, and pressure competitors out of key markets. Every round, a player select what market to compete on and then the price ward starts. Set fares too high and travelers choose a rival airline. Set them too low and your flights sell out without making enough profit. To increase revenue, players push their luck by introducing hidden fees for baggage, seat selection, but going to high will likely spook the passenger and they'll go to their next best option. The game ends at the end of the year (12 rounds). Players total their subsidies, ticket values and fees and the most profitable airline wins.
